The International e-facilitator summer school is divided into two programs, one for the efacilitators, and the other for the coordinators. Both programs will be organized in English language.
E-facilitators will be involved in a 5 day workshop following the Telecentre Multimedia Academy (TMA) program. The TMA program focuses on media literacy in the fields of photography, video and sound, together with project management, digital storytelling and audio-visual production. The summer school TMA program will be simplified and focused on mobile technology. The TMA program is designed to give all participants hands-on experience in different media, including project planning and execution. Participants are expected to bring their own smart phone/tablet, but are welcome to bring any type of camera as well.
Coordinators will have the opportunity to present their organizations/programs/projects and meet their peers from other organizations/countries, through a program focusing on themes applicable in telecentres. This year we are focusing on Media literacy, Coding for kids, and Life skills. The program is planned as an opportunity to exchange ideas and plan new projects/consortia in a relaxed environment, with plenty of unstructured time, conducive to creative thinking. The coordinators are also invited to participate in the round table of the Croatian national coalition for digital jobs (interpreting will be provided).
Telecentar’s e-Facilitator Summer School will be supported by Telecentre Europe. TE will present the guidelines for Telecentres on the Professional Recognition and Development of e-Facilitators as well as the position paper titled "Digital skills and inclusion through e-facilitators".
