The European Commission launches the 'Next Generation Internet' initiative.
A first step is to open a broad conversation and consult with those actors who are the drivers of this next generation Internet, notably young researchers, the emerging generation of Internet startuppers and civil society.
To kick-start this conversation, which should help to define research and innovation priorities for Horizon 2020, the survey was developed.
The first set of questions is higher level and citizens oriented, the latter part dives into specific technologies we believe relevant in developing the next generation Internet.
The deadline for giving input is 9 January 2017. A report with the outcomes of this consultation will be published in January 2017 on Futurium.
Please fill in the form here https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/NGI and keep your answers brief and to the point in the "free text" boxes in order to facilitate the processing of the responses. It should take about 15-20 minutes.
