Florence Heri-Tech was born in 2018 from an idea of the Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of Florence and Florence Biennal Art and Restoration Fair to create a synergy between cultural heritage and new technologies; between business world and university world.
The International Conference Florence Heri-Tech: the Future of Heritage Science and Technologies, involves a large number of researchers and scholars from around the world and puts the industry's current issues under the spotlight, specifically on issues related to innovative techniques and technologies for Cultural Heritage.
Sessions will revolve around the following topics: Materials Science & Engineering; Architecture & Environment; European funds for cultural heritage; Cultural heritage microbiomes; and Geomatics for water-related cultural heritage.
