The DREAMS project consortium invites you to participate in an International Webinar on Digital Storytelling with Roma Parents on 3rd December 2020.
The webinar will present and illustrate an innovative methodology aimed at strengthening the collaboration between schools and Roma parents by empowering and supporting Roma parents to express their views and address issues like inclusion, discrimination, segregation, racism, bullying or violence in the form of short video materials.
Digital stories made by Roma parents from Belgium, Bulgaria and Romania will be presented and discussed.
The direct and indirect benefits of using this methodology will also be analysed.
The target group of the event are:

15:00 – 15: 15 Introduction by Moderator Calin Rus from INSTITUTUL INTERCULTURAL TIMISOARA (Romania) and presentation of a digital story by Ion Goracel from INSTITUTUL INTERCULTURAL TIMISOARA (Romania)
15:15 – 15:30 Digital Storytelling methodology Andreea Dima from MAKS vzw (Belgium) and challenges and opportunities when applying the methodology with Roma parents Calin Rus.
15:30 – 15:45 Comments on the methodology from the perspective of the Project Partners: Silvia Vasileva from HESED (Bulgaria), Peter Palvolgyi from ALL DIGITAL AISBL (Belgium), Ion Goracel from INSTITUTUL INTERCULTURAL TIMISOARA (Romania) and Andreea Dima from MAKS vzw (Belgium).
15:45 – 16:00 Presentation of the stories done by parents in local languages (with English subtitles), and open discussion among webinar participants
16:15 – 16:30 Project achievements, challenges and plans by MAKS vzw and closing by Calin Rus
