The webinar will present the model developed and impact of the Carer+ project which supported professional development of care workers facing new challenges in the digital age.
The CARER + project identified the digital competences needed in order to enable the elderly people to live with new and existing technologies at home. Based on the identified Competence Framework, it also developed learning pathways using digital technology tools training caregivers in the use of new technologies. These were tested in various environments in different countries with caregivers.
The webinar will provide an overview of the piloting which included 200 carers and a further 50 informal care givers were involved in a training programme lasting 200 hours as part of a Continuous Professional Development Programme.
In addition, the methodology and results of impact assessment will be presented.
Join the webinar and find out what effect the Carer+ model has on the quality of care work provided by carers and whether the Carer+ model ultimately has an effect on the quality of life of older people as care recipients.
