The Malta Communications Authority is currently drafting a project proposal with the aim of designing and implementing an ICT Training programme targeting vulnerable groups, including (i) early school leavers, (ii) older workers, (iii) persons with disability, (iv) the inactive, and others.
The ultimate aim of this project is to promote the use of ICT to encourage individuals (especially those vulnerable, with a higher risk of poverty and social exclusion) to engage into the labour market, hence ensuring active inclusion in society.
As part of the project, we require transnational cooperation in order to be able to adopt and apply good practices from various different EU Countries. Therefore I am seeking advice from your end to help us identify entities which might be interested to participate as partners in this project.
This project's application form closes on April 2016, and actual training is forecasted to start on Quarter I of 2017.
