What does your organization do (100-word description)
The Information Society Development Foundation conducts activities to increase access of citizens, institutions and organizations to information and communication technologies and strives to popularize the knowledge of the benefits of using those technologies in citizens’ life.
FRSI carries out modernization projects aimed at inhabitants of villages and small towns in Poland to help them gain access to information, knowledge and culture. The key project is the Library Development Program which the Foundation is implementing to help Poland’s public libraries provide access to computers, the Internet, and training.

As a national Get online week coordinator in Poland, the Information Society Development Foundation invited public libraries and other telecentres to take part in the campaign. On 20 and 21 March 2013, as a part of the Get Online Week campaign in Poland, two events were held in the Regional Public Library in Olsztyn, under the name ‘Get the Spring into the Net’.
