What does your organization do (100-word description)
The Information and Knowledge Society in which we live today requires individuals to adapt and learn throughout their lives; it is the mission of the University and local government to contribute to the creation of flexible, interactive and open access learning spaces for all segments of civil society, adjusting the models of diffusion and acquisition of knowledge to the needs of the region and respecting the different levels of their populations.
The Knowledge Houses are these spaces, which aim simultaneously to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge, to reduce the digital asymmetries that occur at a regional and national level, and the info-exclusion of the populations, through the mobilization of their local communities, regional and academic institutions as actors of economic and social development.
