What does your organization do (100-word description)
In 1958 was founded in Dublin Sports School for Students, functioning within the School "Balcescu" with sections: Athletics, Basketball, Gymnastics, with the base material and land the school hall. In 1971, by Decision 91 Education Ministry, the Sports School Students became independent unit. School sports Weightlifting "future" Pitesti was founded in 1971 as a department in addition to High School Civil Engineering with 6 branches Sports: Boxing, Weightlifting, Wrestling, Football, Rugby, Judo. In 1972 they established another two sections: Table tennis and handball. In 1972, the School Sports Pitesti future become an independent unit. In 1974 this school was abolished sections with the best results being assimilated Sports School "Future" Pitesti. In 1974, the School Sports Future remained the only sports facility in Pitesti, based in Traian Street No.14, assimilating and sections with good results of Students Sports School, just broken. In the 1974-1975 school year, the School Sports "future" work with 74 groups from 11 branches of sports (athletics, basketball, boxing, weightlifting, handball, judo, wrestling, table tennis, tennis and volleyball), with 1121 students and 28 teachers. On 1 September 1977 the name was changed Future Sports School by address Arges County School Inspectorate no. 5726-1977 School Sports Club Pitesti future. School Sports Club "Future" functioned until 1995, when, following the reorganization of sports activity, was established Pitesti Sports High School Sports Club School (LPS - CSS Pitesti), the result of merging Sports Club Sports Club Future, with eight sports sections (basketball, handball, swimming, volleyball, tennis, chess, judo, wrestling) and Wings Sports Club Pitesti, which work with athletics and football. CSS works as a department attached to Pitesti Sports High School. Pitesti Sports High School was established under Ministerial Order nr.4171 / 1995 - unit with legal personality established in Pitesti Traian Street No.14. Currently we operate with nine sections by sport (athletics, basketball, handball, swimming, judo, soccer, volleyball, tennis, Greco Roman), with 1151 students of which 700 students in 45 groups of CSS and over 450 students in the 16 years of high school, trained 54 teachers and assistants 17 administrative employees. From September 2012, our unit called Sports High School ,,Future,, PITEŞTI
