What does your organization do (100-word description)
TechSoup Romania offers to all Romanian NGOs support and inspiration to use technology to make Romania a better place.
We work towards increasing the adoption rate of the newest software and online technologies: from cloud software solutions to online marketing, social media or online fundraising.
We have made it our purpose to also develop programs that link the very active and enthusiastic local IT industry to the NGO sector, such as ReStart Romania, Restart in Education, Innovation Labs or Opening Opportunities.
Since 2009, together with our donor partners (Adobe, Bitdefender, Cisco and Microsoft), we have helped more than 1050 Romanian nonprofit organisations save more than 2.2 million US dollars by accessing technology donations.
What digital skills training or activities do you or does your organization offer (if any)?
Since 2013, we have trained more than 650 NGOs employees and volunteers in topics like:
- using email marketing for nonprofit activities;
- using Google AdWords and AdGrants for NGOs;
- SEO for NGOs;
- digital copyright and stock photography issues;
