What does your organization do (100-word description)
My work mainly focuses on the literacies of the digital age- specifically around data & media literacy. I organize workshops, give speeches and advises to organizations, and participate in research projects around issues related to upskilling, critical thinking & decision making within digital literacy context. I do all these by putting the human element at the centre of the digital ecosystem, not the other way around.
What digital skills training or activities do you or does your organization offer (if any)?
I offer tailor-made training sessions related to soft skills (or knowns as human skills, especially on critical thinking, decision making, digital inclusion. I mainly organize hands-on workshops using a mix of online (some websites, training videos etc.) and offline (pencils, papers, legos etc).tools.

Your function and/or responsibilities related to digital skills training and empowerment
My role (and my whole career) revolves around digital skills and competencies. I do so by giving talks and organizing workshops. My main aim is to encourage people to take action by helping them understand the relevancy of data & digitalization to their situation and encouraging them to create actiınalbe road plans.
How are you involved in digital inclusion / empowerment?
As a trained social worker, who is now currently working in the data & digital literacy field, empowering individuals is at the core of my work. I believe social work and digital literacy share one core value: Creating a better and more inclusive society, for everyone and not just a few. So my work on digital literacy is heavily influenced by my social worker identity & values.
