What we do as an organization (100-word description)
Our goal: to fight against poverty caused by a low level of education and by unemployment in Cureghem, a neighbourhood in the Anderlecht district of Brussels. We do this by organizing ICT-projects.
What ICT or e-skills training programs does my organization offer (if any)?
· At Kurasaw Tewerkstelling people receive training about talents and skills in order to become more self confident in the job market
· People with a low level of education, long term unemployed job seekers or people on welfare get the opportunity to gain some experience working as desktop publisher or multimedia animator. They get a temporary apprenticeship contract working for our graphic design department Kurasaw Productions or in our telecentre KureghemNet. Both departments are certified socioprofessional integration projects.
· People of all ages can improve their computer skills and creative talents in courses and new media workshops.
