What does your organization do (100-word description)
Working in one of the poorest neigbourhoods in Belgium, Brussels, we develop programs to increase employabliity using ICT.
What digital skills training or activities do you or does your organization offer (if any)?
all kind of training in Microsoft office, open source for absolute beginners till advanced people. Courses to train creativity with the computer: making films and games with youngsters; photography. We are also specialised in coding.

How are you involved in digital inclusion / empowerment?
Maks vzw is an organisation that promotes digital inclusion in one of the poorest neighbourhoods of Brussels by providing all kind of creative and educative courses to young and old.
How did you learn about this community?
I got involved through a Telecentre Europe event
Why would yo like to join the network?
Everything what can help us to develop courses in which people learn to produce with the computer either than merely consuming it. Producing with the computer can help
people to develop all kind of skills to learn on their own. My organisation in part of the BRIGHTS project.
