On the 29th of May, 2020, a licence agreement was signed to open ECCC representation in Bangladore, India. It is to promote digital education and implement DigComp in rhis country. The first trainings have started for the staff to implement also the ECCC digital competence examinations, based on the DigComp framework.
The results of our "e-Teaching" project exceeded our expectations. The project to solve teachers and parents' difficulties with online teaching of pupils met great interest. Till today above 114 thousand people visited the project website, almost 4400 people participated in the online training and 2726 finished it and received certificates. As in many countries, also in Poland, schools are closed because of coronavirus. To continue education the schools started online teaching what unfortunately met many difficulties because of not enough teachers' experience in online teaching. On the 1st of April, 2020, a licence agreement was signed to open ECCC representation in Limassol, Cyprus, and to implement the ECCC digital competence validation standard in this country together with Cyprus partners.
This is another country in which an ECCC digital competence validation is established to promote digital education and provide digital competence examinations of citizens, based on the DigComp framework.
