What we do as an organization (100-word description)
All Digital (previously known as Telecentre Europe) is a leading pan-European association based in Brussels, representing member organisations across Europe that work with 25,000 digital competence centres. We believe that every European should be able to exploit the benefits and opportunities created by digital transformation.
What ICT or e-skills training programs does my organization offer (if any)?
We focus to support Europeans that have an insufficient level of digital skills. That means that they’re having less chances to find work, to use online services, to have a better quality of life, to be included in today’s society. We empower our member organisations representing non-formal education providers to support millions of Europeans to succeed in the digital transformation by providing them with training and advice.
Number of digital competence centres linked to my organization
25000
My function/responsibilities in the organization (description)
Chief Operating Officer, responsible for the management of our organisation'a daily activities and financial operations.
How I am involved in digital inclusion / empowerment
I was connected to the Hungarian telecentre movement, working for DemNet Foundation which established the first telecentres at rural areas of Hungary. A few years later I was elected to serve as the executive director of the Hungarian Telecentre Public Benefit Non-profit Company. I also worked for the Hungarian Telecottage Association as international projects coordinator. Since 2012 I've lived in Belgium and worked for Telecentre Europe, which became ALL DIGITAL in 2017.
How I got in touch with this community

Seniors in Action in Hungary

Posted on April 30, 2012 at 12:26 0 Comments

Senior citizens were in the focus in Röszke Telecentre (population: 3296 people). Local residents over the age of 50 were invited to the telecentre to take basic computer course. Nearly 20 people participated on the training learning about the most popular internet applications such as Skype, Facebook and Gmail.

But the Telecentre has greater ambitions: its goal is to better engage senior citizens in the life of the community, to active and mobilize them for achieving common community…
