What we do as an organization (100-word description)
The Association Community Telecentre Network is an organization formed in 2008 to bring together institutions, organizations and groups working in the creation, promotion and maintenance of public areas for the promotion of Information Society in Spain by promoting public access to information technologies and communication technologies (ICT, not doing this for profit but as a community service.
Telecentres are public spaces freely available dumps to generate projects and initiatives between people, connecting them and stimulating their ability to transform and improve where they live through ICT. 7 out of 10 of these centers are located in communities with fewer than 10,000 inhabitants, and provide a commitment to socio-economic empowerment.
Public telecentre networks in Spain with special attention to sectors that are at a disadvantage. Thus, over 90% of the activities in call centers are aimed at age 50, women and children, and over 60% to groups at risk of social exclusion and people with disabilities. Of course telecentres also provide support for e-government, the business and social groups or local agents.
Since its vocation and public character, activities and projects generated and "agitated" in these telecentres through ICTs reduce barriers and markets close. These networks provide the local business telecommunications infrastructure, digital skills and training and new production opportunities to companies. Ultimately act as a fulcrum and lever for people to star in the development, wealth creation and employment of the territories with more difficulties.
What ICT or e-skills training programs does my organization offer (if any)?

2. "Microsoft Office Specialist" Certification

4. "Dinamizanet" and "FormaCARM": e-learning courses for Telecentre managers
