What does your organization do (100-word description)
the primary n school I work at is in Lesvos a Greek island which is mostly heard in the news for the large amount of refugees and immigrants that arrive here and especially in Moria. this year we are planning to deal with global issues and espacially those concerning refugees through a digital project.
What digital skills training or activities do you or does your organization offer (if any)?
digital storytelling project concerning global citizenship. there is a computer lab and internet connection at school and projection screens.
Your function and/or responsibilities related to digital skills training and empowerment
my responsibility this year is to introduce the students to GCE and digital storytelling. through the project and the writing process the will become able to search for information evaluate it cooperate with their partners and deal with issues concerning the whole world and not just their society
How are you involved in digital inclusion / empowerment?
research purposes for my dissertation and my post graduate studies. however I try to be as connected and involved in social media to get a better idea of what is happening in the world .
