Why would yo like to join the network?
Yuliya Melnyk is an experienced linguist, translator and journalist. She got an M.A.in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia, the first US journalism school, and a PhD in Linguistics from the Odessa National Mechnikov University, Odessa, Ukraine. She published hundreds of articles when she worked as a Capitol Hill reporter for US newsletter companies in Washington, DC. Her career includes experience with Voice of America (VOA), International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) and other reputable media organizations. Besides her journalism career, Yuliya has been working as a teacher of English as a Second Language for many years. She was a visiting scholar at the Department of English as a Foreign Language at The George Washington University, Washington, DC in 2000-2001. She is also an experienced researcher who worked with The Library of Congress, Washington, DC and Ryerson University, Toronto.
