ALL Digital Week 2019 in Latvia

During  Digital week 2019, more than 28 000  Latvian citizens throughout country  have used the opportunity to acquire new digital  skills and  explore opportunities provided by digital  technologies.  Latvia has been one of the most active participants of the  European  All Digital week for the tenth consecutive year.

GOW 2016 highlights in Latvia -778 events all over the country !

For the 7th year Get Online Week in Latvia was organized  by LIKTA in Cooperation with the Ministry of Regional Development and Environmental Protection. 103 municipalities were involved as regional coordinators . GOW 2016 in Latvia – chance for young people to explore FIT4JOBS tests !

During the Get Online Week 2016 youth in Latvia had a chance to evaluate their digital and computer skills by completing Fit4Jobs tests.. The test has been created within the framework of the Fit4Jobs project to evaluate computer user office productivity skills   which   every employee should have and which are  requested by almost all employers

The test includes questions about office software usage - such as Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook.

More than 600 Skillage tests in Latvia in 2 days

One of the activities for young people for GOW 2013 was assessment of their digital skills for job market skills with a new version of Skillage tests. During only 2 days already more than 600 Skillage tests have been passed .

The results data base shows that about 46 % of test takers have achieved the correct answers…
