Is your organization an expert in skills development & ICT training for youth? Then apply for the 2012 Youth Employability Awards, organized by the European Alliance on Skills for Employability and its members – Microsoft, Adecco and Accenture.

In Europe, small progress has been made in rolling back the impact of the global economic crisis on youth.  Many young people have given up the job search altogether, or decided to postpone it and therefore the right skilling incentives and youth opportunities to bridge the employment gap are crucial.

The 2012 Youth Employability Awards are an opportunity to celebrate outstanding skills development initiatives, entrepreneurship and ICT training for youth that are making a real impact on the employability of our next generation!

Through the Awards, experts in skills development have the chance to highlight their initiative on the EU arena.

Applications are open to NGOs, who are encouraged entering one of three targeted categories, with the chance of a 3.000 Euros prize:

  1. Empowering European Youth Through Technology
  2. Driving Youth Entrepreneurship
  3. Enabling Youth Mobility

Applicants can apply until October 1st.

The Awards ceremony will take place at the European Employment Week in Brussels on November 27th, 2012.
