Get Online Week 2017 in Romania is implemented by EOS Foundation in partnership with The National Association of Public Libraries with an active community of public libraries, schools, access points and other organisations and institutions dedicated to digital literacy in Romania.
During 27th March - 2nd April, in the Centre of Documentation and Information at Leresti School, students and teachers took classes in documentary research, documentation and information, awareness activities about the unsupervised navigation on the Internet, the risks and advantages of the Internet, copyright issues, media resources, online games.
They watched videos and educational movies that led to development of the key competences and involving in nonformal activities. Students became familiar with Internet use, the necessity of using the technology in school life, development of new technologies, learning of foreign languages and also the development of new opportunities at European level.
