The European Fundraising Association is launching a seminar programme designed to share European fundraising expertise with third sector organisations throughout the world.
Windows on Europe will feature in selected international conferences as a series of talks delivered by fundraising leaders from Europe. The initiative launches at the national fundraising conference in France this week and includes speakers from Amnesty International Belgium, Be the Change UK and the Polish Fundraising Association.
As part of the programme, the EFA is also launching a quarterly fundraising news digest for its members. The new email information service will start in September.
"European fundraisers are fast becoming world leaders in their profession," said Dr Marita Haibach, president of EFA. The new Windows on Europe programme provides a platform for leading fundraisers to share their know-how with others, demonstrating the latest tips and techniques. The programme is an opportunity to raise the standards of fundraising ever higher, mobilising resources to meet the needs of our beneficiaries.
