The Fondazione Mondo Digitale participated in the 2020 edition of the All Digital Week involving over 1.000 participants who took part in the initiatives carried out in collaboration with important partners, organizations and ICT companies such as Google, Microsoft, European Commission, Erickson. In a time of health emergency like the one we are experiencing, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale has brought online webinars and training and digital literacy meetings designed not to leave anyone behind. An educational channel has been activated to support distance learning, to support all those teachers who, without adequate tools and methodologies, have been forced to move their lessons online. Through GoToWebinar platform it has been possible to create virtual classrooms where you can solve doubts and ask for advice.
A real Help Desk for an inclusive and transformative school in a moment of health emergency in an Italy where the coronavirus has not stopped the desire to teach and learn. The intention is not only to offer a support service, but also to create opportunities to share and compare experiences and good practices, to activate peer help.
The Fondazione Mondo Digitale has involved the school world, but also young people who are going to enter the world of work, parents of children and adolescents struggling with the web and social networking platforms and the elderly with their need to stay connected.
From the online laboratory on artificial intelligence in collaboration with Microsoft (Ambizione Italia Project) to multimedia resources, available in English, to talk to young people about bullying and gender-based violence (Gender Equality Matters Project). During the All Digital Week, thanks to the partnership with Google, many webinars were also dedicated to coding (Computer Science First Project) and safe use of the Internet (Vivi Internet al Meglio Progect).
