Following up the success of the previous years, the students workshop "Coding our Future" was organized once again in the framework of the All Digital Week in order to engage primary school students in gaining coding skills.
The workshop was offered to Primary school children, and, depending on the age, the following workshops took place:
The workshops were organised daily and at least 25 students were reached daily. During the period of March "Coding our Future" was offered to more than 600 students. The training workshops will continue until the end of the school period, and the plan is to start a new training season from September 2019.
This year the workshop took place at the Primary Schools directly in comparison to the previous years where the students need to visit the Cyprus Computer Society's premises in Nicosia. This change gave the opportunity to students from remote areas to get involved and learn more about coding and expand their digital skills.
Children are our future and they should all have digital skills including coding....so let's CODE OUR FUTURE!!
