The 15th Regional FP7 Euro Africa ICT Awareness Workshop (Khartoum University Sudan April 6-7, 2011) is organized by the Euro Africa-ICT FP7 project (primary Sigma Orionis, Makerere University, TWAS and AUF) under the aegis of the European Commission (DG INFSO, International Relations Unit) and with the support of the Khartoum University. These workshops aim at raising awareness on FP7/ICT and at enhancing and supporting Euro-African collaborative projects on ICT research. Several awareness workshops have already been organized in the framework of the Euro Africa-ICT Initiative in Africa in order to enhance the participation of African organizations in FP7 collaborative projects and to support the identification of ICT research priorities.
