Do you have a budding idea for a project that has not yet been created and could very well fit under the Grand Coalition for Digital Jobs? Do you have a ground-breaking idea for a project on digital skills and jobs that nobody has yet proposed and/or implemented? Then , the European Commission invites you to share it with the world!
They are looking for original ideas in terms of relevance, impact, and probability of success; ideas that can make a difference, create jobs and help filling in the several hundred of thousands of unfilled ICT-related vacancies in Europe. Think of projects in the areas of ICT training, mobility, innovative ways of teaching and learning and so on.
How to participate to the contest:
- Start a discussion on the Linkedin group " Grand coalition for Digital Jobs" with the following title format: MY IDEA: [Title of your idea]
- Describe your idea in a concise way and perhaps include a short plan/timeline of implementation
- Promote your idea by acting in this group: comment, give information, answer other members' questions, etc
The contest will run until FRIDAY 7 JUNE 2013. The Grand Coalition team of the Commission will review all ideas and will announce the winner by Monday 10 June evening. The Commission will also contact the winner to arrange his/her trip to Dublin, where he/she will present their idea at the DAA Workshop "Digital Skills for Jobs and Learning" on 19 June. The winner will have the opportunity to attend the entire DAA event on 19-20 June:https://ec.europa.eu/digital-agenda/en/digital-agenda-assembly-2013
