Mr. Stanley S. Litow the Vice President, Corporate Citizenship and Corporate Affairs & President, IBM International Foundation informed Drishtee foundation that they are  been selected to receive an award of an IBM Centennial Grant.  Drishtee organization service project, is one of only 11 projects to be recognized with a significant IBM Centennial Grant.  From a pool of nearly one hundred applications received from around the world, the winning projects showcase the social innovation and Smarter Planet strategies that exemplify IBM's Centennial and our year-long Celebration of Service.

Mr. Stanley mentioned he is proud of the breadth and depth of the many smarter projects that were submitted through this highly competitive process. He is equally excited to anticipate the impact drishtee project will have, whether that impact is local, regional or eventually global. His hope is that through the support of this grant from IBM, Drishtee  organization will make a remarkable and lasting step forward in your efforts to help your community work better.

Beginning with Thomas Watson, Sr., IBM pioneered the notion that a great company shares its resources and talents with the communities where its employees and retirees live and work. Your partnership with your local IBM team showcases that commitment. You should be very proud of your role in helping IBM continue this tradition in a way that will inspire others to reconsider what’s possible in making the world a better place.

he Thanks Drishtee for it commitment to making its community smarter, and congratulations on its special place in the Celebration of Service and the IBM Centennial history.
