Mr. Stanley S. Litow the Vice President, Corporate Citizenship and Corporate Affairs & President, IBM International Foundation informed Drishtee foundation that they are been selected to receive an award of an IBM Centennial Grant. Drishtee organization service project, is one of only 11 projects to be recognized with a significant IBM Centennial Grant. From a pool of nearly one hundred applications received from around the world, the winning projects showcase the social innovation and Smarter Planet strategies that exemplify IBM's Centennial and our year-long Celebration of Service.
Mr. Stanley mentioned he is proud of the breadth and depth of the many smarter projects that were submitted through this highly competitive process. He is equally excited to anticipate the impact drishtee project will have, whether that impact is local, regional or eventually global. His hope is that through the support of this grant from IBM, Drishtee organization will make a remarkable and lasting step forward in your efforts to help your community work better.
Beginning with Thomas Watson, Sr., IBM pioneered the notion that a great company shares its resources and talents with the communities where its employees and retirees live and work. Your partnership with your local IBM team showcases that commitment.
