Foundation "Education for Democracy" from Poland, RITA program in partnership with the Alliance of Access to Information and Training Community Centers, Moldova announce enrollment of participants in e-learning course "School of the community leader".
The aim of the course is to strengthen the local government capacities and enhance the professionalism of the civil servants using the distance learning in order to improve local governance act.
1. Transfer of knowledge for the performance of official duties of public officials.
2. Training of active networking skills to acquire and analyze business information from diverse sources.
The course will cover various topics of problems of local government: management of local government institution, principles of activity of local public administration, transparency of decision making process, local public finances and property management.
The course will run from April 2 to May 4, 2013 on www.civicportal.org - an international collaboration platform. Training is free of cost and don’t requires specific hours to be online. Participation requires connection to the platform several times a week for attending training materials, individual tests, involvement in developing a discussion on the forum and individual works. Upon successfully end of the course participants will receive electronic certificates. E-learning course registration is done by sending a message with the title "School of the community leader" on firstname.lastname@example.org.
The course is launched during the European campaign "Get Online Week 2013".
