Prof Alain Senteni the 4th e-Learning Conference Chair and the Dean of the School of e-Education at Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University (HBMeU) send an online message to declare the Annual Congress 2011, in Dubai. The conference is under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Crown prince of Dubai and President of HBMeU. The Annual Congress 2011 held under the main theme, Being at the Leading Edge – How to give Quest for Excellence a New Meaning. the Annual Congress 2011 will feature three outstanding conferences on e-Learning Excellence, Quality and Healh & Environment.The 4th eLearning Conference (dubai 31st Jan - 2nd Feb. 2010) on e-Learning Excellence Middle East under the theme ‘In Search of New Paradigms for re-Engineering Education’will emphasize on knowledge-based, technology enhanced educational change effectively contributing to the emergence of a learner-centered participative environment.Many challenges of e-learning will be addressed by four keynote speakers .They are outstanding international researchers in the field. Sir John Daniel, President and CEO of the Commonwealth of Learning and Dr Narimane Hadj Hamou, Assistant Chancellor for Academic Development at HBMeU will speak on the first day of the conference. Professor Denise Kirkpatrick, Pro Vice-Chancellor Learning, Teaching and Quality at the UK Open University and Professor Carmel McNaught, Director of the Centre for Learning Enhancement And Research (CLEAR) at the Chinese University of HongKong will speak on the 2nd day of the conference. in the afternoon of the second day, a Research Panel allowing discussing research trends in quality e-Learning, will be chaired by Prof Mohamed Abd El Hafeez Youssef, the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Scientific Research at Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University. The conference will propose three Special Interest Groups in Corporate e-Learning,K12 Education and Higher Education.
