On 8th and 9th of September, Copenhagen hosted the Nordic-Baltic Cluster, with eSkills for Jobs partners from Norway, Sweden, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania and Denmark. Telecentre Europe was invited by the Danish hosts DI ITEK to present the Grand Coalition for Digital Jobs, as both organizations are part of the Grand Coalition Secretariat.

I attended on behalf of Telecentre Europe, and invited the cluster partners to expand their efficient collaboration on topics of the Grand Coalition, especially to look into creating local or national coalitions in their countries. My presentation took participants through the formation process of a coalition and the role that the cluster could play in promoting and supporting coalitions in the Nordic-Baltic region.

Representatives of two national coalitions from Latvia and Lithuania provided insights from their experiences, encouraging the other partners to talk to their governments and stakeholders about the importance and impact of these coalitions.

Telecentre Europe and the Grand Coalition Secretariat are building clusters in other four European regions, covering all of EU28, to promote Grand Coalition objectives and to encourage the setting up of national and local coalitions by interested stakeholders.
