Strong Euro-Africa ICT partnership (GDCO Sudan - DSE Netherlands)
One of the main objectives of the Euro Africa ICT project is to identify ICT research
priorities addressing cooperation between Europe and (sub-Saharan) Africa. Once
these priorities identified and analyzed in detail, they (priorities) will lead
to recommendations, which may be taken into consideration in facilitating the
rapid emergence of Euro-African collaborative projects addressing identified
ICT research areas. Many research topics were identified as priorities including,
e-Learning, e-Health, e-Governance, e-Infrastructures, e-Libraries or Digital
Library, e-Inclusion, e-Agriculture, evolution and convergence of networks,
social inclusion, software and services, transport and technology (mobile
telephony).
