On the 16th of December 2015 all the Ministers and heads of delegations participating in the high level plenary meeting convened by the UN General  Assembly 70th session President Mogens Lykketoft for WSIS+10 outcome document (UNGA 15 -16 December 2015) agree and adopted the Draft Resolution (A/70/L.33). Countries adopted a new plan to utilize Internet and information technologies in implementation of new Sustainable Development Agenda. The General Assembly (press release) adopted the outcome document on the overall review of the implementation of the outcomes of the WSIS towards the end of a two-day 10-year review meeting and extend the IGF for another 10 years.  The adopted outcome document, addressed a range of emerging challenges and opportunities, welcomes the remarkable evolution and spread of Information and Communication Technologies to almost every community in the world enabling knowledge sharing, economic growth and empowering sustainable development.

Gedaref Digital City Organization (GDCO Sudan) has a great contribution to the General Assembly’s overall review of the implementation of the outcomes of the World Summit on the Information Society WSIS+10 meetings in New York

1- on 16 Dec 2015 GDCO participated in side-event Enabling Trusted Connected World organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU)  GDCO time from 1:10 to 1:35

2-  on 15 December 2015 GDCO participated in the side event Women’s Empowerment in the Digital Age: Implementing WSIS Outcome and Agenda 2030. The event is Co-organized by the Permanent Missions of Costa Rica, Sweden, Switzerland and Tunisia, the United States Mission, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN-Women), the Association for Progressive Communication (APC), Microsoft and Mozilla. time from 1:08:30 to 1:10:15

3- Participated in the Second Informal Interactive Stakeholder Consultation - Preparatory on 19th October 2015 GDCO Speech from 44:30 to 49:30
