Getting women online and into business in Tudela

It’s been said, the future is feminine, but how do we make it that way? Partner’s of the ALL DIGITAL network  think they may have a formula on hand, and it implies a simple formula of promoting e-commerce to women with a entrepreneurial idea. This idea is being piloted in a Key Action 2 erasmus plus project, called “smart women.”

The third Smart women project meeting took place in Tudela, Spain. Project partners were hosted by their Spanish partner,  Fundacion Dedalo. Prior to the meeting, project partners were invited to the city hall of Tudela where they had a meeting with the mayor Eneko Larrarte.

The discussion with the mayor allowed the partners to  learn about the employment situation in Tudela, and the need to promote new skills as a means to support and promote work. The partners explained the context of the project  highlighting the capacity for the project to promote entrepreneurship and employment in the Southern Navarra region. The project will be piloted in a training course in spring for 15 women. The course materials will be available online and accessible for other organisations or municipalities to use.
