Girls Code Fun - Cisco Networking Academy in Poland Spring 2018

The Girls Code Fun Foundation has been helping individuals learn the basics of Cybersecurity and the Internet of Things for the last few months with the help of Cisco’s Networking Academy platform.

I felt that not only was I learning a new skill, but I was able to later relate that knowledge to other students, especially other women, who are interested in getting into the tech field. I’m grateful to be part of this project’, said Van Anh, Super-Instructor.

The Intro to Cybersecurity course was a great start to my dreamed profession in new technology. I was able to step a foot in the right direction with the guidance of an instructor and a great online platform that was free,' - commented Aleksandra, student.

Workshops were led in three major Polish cities: Warsaw, Białystok, and Crakow.

Future plans include promoting the Cisco Netacad courses online, as well as leading more workshops in other Polish cities, including Łódź and Wrocław.
