Recently, "Langas i ateiti" has been collaborating with international partners to implement the e-GUARDIAN project, with the goal of developing a complex training product for educators.

e–GUARDIAN is a professional certification programme for educators localized for use in Lithuania, Latvia and Germany. The programme is proposed as a safe internet learning standard for Lithuanian and Latvian educational institutions and could be implemented in other EU countries.

Training programme, methodology, student‘s guide, e-course as well as automated evaluation tests were developed during the Project.

All the training and testing materials were translated into the e-GUARDIAN partners' languages: Latvian, German, French, Lithuanian & English. The programme is expected to be endorsed by the ECDL Foundation and to be implemented in the partner countries.

"I am glad this e-course emerged. Usually I don‘t have enough time to attend seminars for updating the knowledge I have. In this e-course I found a lot of proper information and I already have plenty of ideas how to deliver it to my pupils"– said Elena Rašimaitė, the participant of the training

The project has run during 18 months: from November, 2010 till May, 2012. The e–GUARDIAN project is funded by European Commision LLL Leonardo da Vinci Transfer of Innovations programme.
