More than 300 people participate in the European ALL DIGITAL WEEK in actions of the Association Somos Digital

This year, coinciding with the European Week of Media Literacy, the ALL DIGITAL WEEK has given special importance to media literacy and critical thinking in the digital training process. As in previous years, the association Somos Digital (We are Digital) joined this initiative with the organization of several free courses and workshops that were taught online through the web and in face-to-face format from the CyL network of spaces Digital located in the provincial capitals of Castilla y León.

In this way, and in order to contribute to the public awareness of having a critical attitude to the information we see on the Internet and shared on social networks, CyL Digital organized the online seminar: "What is and what How does fake news work? The truth of lies. "

In this workshop they explain what fake news or false news is and is not, the who, the how and why of the fake news, teaching how to identify false news and how to react to it.

Within the framework of this action, a training session was held under the title "False News - All Digital Week" in the CeMIT Classroom of Cuntis belonging to the Network of Centers for Technological Modernization of Galicia (Amtega) of the Xunta de Galicia and retransmitted by videoconference to 7 more classrooms of the CeMIT Network.

Other activities were "Use Social Networks to find employment", "Educational Robotics", "Improvement for the online presence of your company", "Photographers and Social Networks" are some of the workshops that were taught with the main objective to improve the employability of citizens through learning and the use of new digital tools.

A campaign full of activities in which more than 300 people participated who wanted to improve their skills and digital training in search of new professional opportunities.
