Since January 2013 Association Langas į ateitį has implemented a project New Skills for NGO success, the goal of which is to train people of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and to improve their skills crucial for effective non-governmental sector work.



Loreta Križinauskienė, director of the association says that for this sector it is absolutely necessary to take advantage of the Internet and interactive means of communication offered.

While implementing New Skills for NGO success project Association has been sharing its extensive experience and knowledge with project participants in order to strengthen the particular sector in the country. During the project lifetime five seminars for NGOs members were held. People from non-governmental organizations took part in the seminars where the opportunities of new technologies were shown as well as the possibilities to improve personal skills were provided.

Educational seminars were held for NGOs in Birštonas, Panevėžys, Šiauliai,  Marijampolė and Rokiškis. Over 150 members from 50 non-governmental organizations participated in these events.

The project is supported by the Lithuanian-Swiss Cooperation Programme NGO Foundation and Association Langas į ateitį.
