Contest: My Telecentre@Work - participate with a photo essay about your telecentre!

Show off with your telecentre globally! From October 10 to December 7, 2011 (extended deadline!) you can participate in Telecentre.org's photo essay contest "My Telecentre@Work" and become one of the six global winners to win:

  • a goody bag full of gifts
  • a holiday e-card made from your photo essay, to be disseminated globally through Telecentre.org's website

To participate, you simple need to be a telecentre-europe community member (*) and create a photo album that contains 5 photos (no more, no less!), affixed with captions that tell us a story about your telecentre.

Tip: through your photo essay, try to answer the question: How does your telecentre make a difference in this world?

Ready to go? Please read underneath guidelines carefully, as we wouldn't want you to disqualify for any of the contest details....

For any questions regarding the contest, feel free to post your questions underneath!

Technical assistance to upload photos and create an album:

  • Go to the Photos tab
  • Go to the subtab "My photos"
  • Upload your photos: don't forget it's a photo essay, so it's very important to select relevant pictures and add captions in the title and description that tell your story: a word, a phrase, a paragraph,...: be creative, clear and expressive!
  • Select the subtab "My albums", then click on "Add Album": use the Album title and description space for more captions to tell your story
  • Don't forget to tag the album as "My Telecentre@Work"!
  • Drag the formerly uploaded pictures to the album box at the right
  • Publish - Ready!

If you want to physically disseminate this contest in your telecentre, download & print the guidelines.

(*) If you are also a community member of telecentre.org's community, please keep in mind that the site were you first post an album tagged "My Telecentre@Work" is where you can win.
