Saying good bye as your Communications Manager...

Dear community members,

Today is my last day as the Communications Manager for Telecentre-Europe aisbl. From tomorrow on, my job will be taken over by your new Communications Officer, Masha Tarle.

I have been doing this job for the last 2 years with a lot of passion and dedication, always thrilled to see my efforts resulting in more views, new membership requests, new content being uploaded and in an increased interaction among the members of this wonderful virtual community...

That's why I would like to take the opportunity to thank you all for keeping this community alive. Without your daily efforts in publishing, sharing, commenting & flagging, this community would not be what it is today: a vibrant common blogging platform for all those that care about digital social inclusion in Europe and beyond! Thank you!

But curious and eager to continuous learning as I am, it's time for me to do something else...

As some of you might have noticed, Social Media - especially when tailored towards nonprofits and SMEs - has been my passion for quite a while now.

Lots of small organizations, nonprofits & professionals need help with managing their social media accounts. Because as easy as it is to open yet another channel, as hard it is to maintain a constant flow of engaging content that drives users to all these platforms so to enlarge the visibility of brands, campaigns & services...

That's why I decided to further specialize in this field and build a career as an independent social media consultant, community manager, trainer & professional blogger.

For those of you that are interested in following my proceedings in this new adventure, check out my blog Eclectic Lines and subscribe to my monthly newsletter. For the tweeters among you: my new (english speaking) twitter account is @lizebizz

Of course, as I am part of the European digital inclusion community myself, I will keep on blogging through this platform as well. Which means that, after all, this isn't such a tough good bye...!

Thanks again for being such a great community members!

Take care,

Lize
