Seema Alkabi wins TCF's "TweetIT!" contest

Seema Saddy Nasser Alkabi from Oman emerged as the winner of Telecentre.org Foundation's first ever Twitter-based question-and-answer contest dubbed as "TweetIT!".

The contest, which was held on October 23, was aimed at promoting the use of Twitter among members of the global telecentre community. It was participated in by members from different countries such as Kenya, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Philippines and India.

During the contest, participants were asked to answer 3 questions ranging from easy, average to difficult. Only those who answered each question correctly were able to proceed to the next question.

Seema, who hails from Oman and is a recipient of the "Most Outstanding Telecentre Woman Manager" award in 2011, received the TweetIT winner's badge as well as a certificate of recognition from the Foundation.

Amos Ochieng of Kenya and Rajeeb Dutta of India were among the finalists who each received a certificate from the Foundation.
