Thanks to all "MIREIA" partners & translators!

Last week, 20 partner organizations representing 22 countries of the EU27 have signed a partnership with Telecentre-Europe (TE) and will act as national branches that will disseminate the MIREIA survey in their (neighboring) countries.

The survey will Measure the Impact of eInclusion Actors on Digital Literacy, Skills and Inclusion goals of the Digital Agenda for Europe (="MIREIA"), will be launched on January 2, 2013 and will be available to be filled online by any European eInclusion organization until February 15.

14 languages in 2 weeks

In the past 2 weeks, Telecentre-Europe's network of member organizations has shown off to be one of the strongest communities I have ever known in the more than 10 years that I am working now in the eInclusion sector.

Only a strong feeling of belonging to Telecentre-Europe can explain why in no less then 2 weeks seventeen partners agreed, not only to become the national MIREIA branch, but also to translate on a voluntary basis the English questionnaire into 14 languagesBulgarian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak & Spanish.

So I would like to take this opportunity to send out my enormous thanks to our partners' representatives for their immediate positive response to our partnership proposal. It is a real pleasure to have people like all of you as members of TE!

And of course, many thanks also to the translators, who, in just 1 week time, worked incredibly hard to deliver a high quality translation of the questionnaire into their language. Thanks to Angel Panov, Iva Walterova, Tine Munch Pedersen, Laurence Beine, Sven Weber, Eleni Arvaniti, Francesca Del Duca, Elżbieta Dydak, Ana Carmo, Cornelia Popescu and José Hortet for their enormous effort and for the amazing result!
