Voting for WSIS Project Prizes 2014 now open

Nominated projects for the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Project Prizes 2014 have been announced and voting is now open. A number of projects from the telecentre community made it to the shortlist. To read about and vote for these projects, check out the list below:

Some important notes on voting:

  • The voting process is open to all WSIS stakeholders. Voters will have to register with complete information and log in to the WSIS website. (Note: If you voted in the previous competition, your username and password will still be valid.)
  • There are 18 categories in all. You must vote in all categories.
  • You may only vote for 1 project per category.
  • You are not allowed to vote for your own project, if any.
  • Voting will run until 18 April 2014, 23:00 Geneva time.

For each category, the project with the most number of votes at the end of the voting period will be declared the winner.

Let’s support the entries from the telecentre community. Vote now!
