From June 15 to September 15, our friends at Mozilla are hosting a global party dubbed the “Maker Party” which celebrates the amazing things we all can make and learn, thanks to the web. During this period, people across the globe will meet up at great events, learn and make cool stuff, then share it online with the rest of the world.
This year, Telecentre.org Foundation joins Mozilla as a partner in this exciting event particularly in spreading the word and inviting members of the telecentre community to participate in the Maker Party.
Here are different ways you can get involved:

You can also help spread the word about it. Here’s how:
“But what’s in it for me?” you ask. Well, for starters, you’ll get to connect and interact with web makers and creative individuals with similar interests from all over the world. Plus, you will have access to a wide range of resources, tools and templates that you may actually find handy. You will also discover and learn new things that will make for a truly enriching experience! Lastly, and more importantly, you will get to showcase your work to the rest of the world! Isn’t that cool?
So what are you waiting for? Join the Maker Party now! Participate in an event or even create your own – from teaching digital literacy to creating videos, developing web pages, and conducting an online storytelling session – the possibilities are endless!
Finally, once you’ve made up your mind and decided to participate whether by joining a particular event or by creating your own, we’d love to hear what you’re up to. Tell us about it through any of the following:
